Job Summary:
The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing an internal communications strategy that drives employee engagement and connectivity across our diverse lines of business. This role will manage the internal communications program for DeKalb Health and will join a growing marketing communications team, reporting into the Director of Marketing.
This role will work closely with various internal stakeholders, such as HR, IT, and individual business unit leaders, to create internal campaigns that empower employees to do their best work and ensure they are up to date on any organizational changes. The Internal Communications Manager will also work very closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure alignment with our external marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal communications strategies and plans that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Create and manage digital content for internal communications, including newsletters, intranet, email, announcements, and other communications.
- Plan and execute on key internal events, both in-person and virtual.
- Design and produce internal communications materials, such as graphics, blog posts, video, and presentations.
- Monitor and analyze current campaign performance and iteratively improve.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams like HR and IT to ensure communications strategy is aligned to overall business objectives.
- Engage with senior leadership team to develop strategy for sharing of pertinent information with the larger organization.
