Overview
Del-Co’s Intern program provides each student with valuable real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring in a unique industry. Working in our Engineering department, you will gain first-hand experience in assisting with the design, planning, inspection, and construction of waterline extensions, relocation, replacement, and development projects along with other capital improvement projects.

Essential Duties
- Review existing easements and use ESRI software to enter them into the GIS mapping system.
- Assist with the organization of backflow records.
- Occasionally assist the inspection team with site inspection tasks
- Occasionally assist Project Managers with project administration.
- Occasionally assist in the collection of GPS data on waterline and appurtenances.
- Any other necessary duties as assigned.
Required:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact on a professional level with co-workers and Del-Co customers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be detail orientated and well organized.
- A sense of eagerness and the ability to take initiative and prioritize.
- A valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Operators license and an acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to perform manual labor and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or educational training in a subject related to civil, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering, or other related field.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
