Job Description Summary
Orientation Coordinator responsible for the development and implementation of campus wide orientation programs for new students, transfer students, parents and other specialized orientation initiatives. Works closely with the Director of Student Leadership & Campus Life and Assistant Dean of Student Engagement and Retention to carry out a successful orientation for first time in college (FTIC) students.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
AND
Three to five (3-5) years of related experience.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Develop and implement a leadership focused training program for the Student orientation leaders. Manage the student orientation leaders and make sure they are complying with New Student Orientation (NSO) requirements.
Assist Director in developing, monitoring and managing the NSO budget to accomplish short and long term strategic planning goals.
Development and implement program assessment and evaluations plans for orientation programs and the orientation leaders.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.

Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and manage conflict.
Ability to coordinate Student Activities, Student Affairs, or working directly with students in an academic or campus life environment.
One (1) year office/clerical related experience.
