Business Development Manager
Rate: $48-$51/hr, W2, Remote (Must be U.S.-based), Ongoing Consultant Contract
Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with over 20 years of experience delivering services to global technology leaders, is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) with prior quota-carrying experience to support our client’s business unit.
Role Overview
This role is part of a high-performing team that is transforming how customers engage with a highly visible program. The BDM will be responsible for both presales and post-sales activities, working cross-functionally to drive adoption of portfolio offerings and ensure customers receive full value post-purchase.
Responsibilities
- Drive presales and post-sales engagement for specific accounts within an assigned business sector
- Serve as the single point of contact for all sales motions, from early-stage opportunity support to post-purchase adoption
- Partner with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with sector-specific goals
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure alignment with sales targets and customer success metrics
- Engage directly with customers and partners to build relationships, drive pipeline growth, and accelerate utilization of sold product credits
- Monitor customer engagement and track usage data to ensure measurable value and impact
Requirements
- Prior quota-carrying experience in a Business Development or Account Management role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience managing a sales pipeline using Salesforce or a comparable CRM
- Demonstrated ability to manage both presales and post-sales engagements
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and results-oriented mindset
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and a consultative approach to selling
- Familiarity with SLED and/or Government sector markets and procurement processes is a plus
Details of Position:
- Work Arrangement: Remote
- Hourly Rate: $48-51/hour, Consultant, Ongoing Opportunity on a W2
