Rate: $60-$65/hr plus benefits, 3-6 months

Del Oro Consulting, a nationwide consulting firm with over 20 years of experience providing strategic solutions to leading global technology companies in the U.S., is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack AI Web Developer.

This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, along with experience in integrating AI technologies (including Large Language Models, NLP, and automation) into web platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a software engineering background, as much of the AI work will focus on integration and optimization from that perspective, rather than deep learning or data science. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that leverage AI to improve user experiences and streamline processes.

Please Note: This is a hybrid role. The consultant will be required to report to the client's office 1-2 times per month in Irvine, CA. Candidates must live in Irvine, CA or in a commutable location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Web Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications with a focus on AI-driven features.
  • Develop and optimize front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Build robust back-end services and APIs, leveraging Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or other frameworks, with AI integration in mind.
  • Focus on software engineering best practices for AI-driven web applications, including performance and scalability.
• AI Integration
  • Integrate AI models and APIs into web applications to provide automation, personalization, and analytics capabilities.
  • Work with AI frameworks and APIs such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI / API, Hugging Face, or other AI tools to build and optimize intelligent features.
• Microservices
  • Ensure the secure and efficient deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Data Management
  • Manage databases (SQL, NoSQL, Firebase, MongoDB) ensuring seamless data flow between the AI models and the application.
• Continuing Education
  • Stay current with AI trends, tools, and best practices, particularly those relevant to software engineering and web development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong emphasis on software engineering for AI applications
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS).
• Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or other frameworks.
• Proven experience integrating AI/ML models and APIs into web applications, with a focus on Large Language Models and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for AI model deployment.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Strong database management skills (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase).
• Solid experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with AI-driven chatbots, recommendation systems, or natural language processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and security concerns.
• Experience in deploying AI models in edge computing environments.
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies and decentralized applications.

Details of Position:

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Consultant will be required to report to the client's office in Irvine, CA 1-2 times per month
• Duration: 3-6 months contract with potential for extension
• $60-65/hour, Consultant, Opportunity on a W2
