The Full-Stack Web Designer at Negativ is responsible for designing and developing visually compelling, user-friendly websites and digital solutions. Remote role; U.S.-based candidates only. Headquarters located in Irvine, CA, and Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
Design & Development
Design visually appealing and functional websites, ensuring alignment with client branding and business goals.
Develop responsive web pages and applications using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance usability and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and clients, to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Participate in brainstorming and design critique sessions to refine concepts and approaches.
Collaborate with developers to integrate back-end functionality with front-end designs.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
Test websites and applications for usability, performance, and functionality across browsers and devices.
Optimize designs and code for speed, scalability, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.
Creative Strategy & Innovation
Propose and implement innovative design concepts that align with emerging trends and technologies.
Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable code libraries to streamline future projects.
Project Management
Maintain clear timelines, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and document progress and technical decisions.

3 years of experience in web design and development, preferably in a creative or agency environment.Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) and front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Expertise in Wordpress, WooCommerce, and Elementor Page Builder.
Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage client relationships and team interactions.
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
