Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively handle employee relations and benefits administration while supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to staff.
- Collaborate with HR manager to develop HR policies and procedures that align with business objectives.
- Monitor compliance with employment labor laws and regulations, providing training as needed.
- Manage Recuritment of Seasonal workers and company staffing
- Assist with company wide trainings and help with translation when needed
- Maintain I9's
- Assist company wide managers with quarterly staff reviews and seasonal scorecards. As well as year-end performance reviews for hourly and salary.
- Assist with company Workers' Compensation. From injury to the completion of employees' claims.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficient in ADP Payroll system for HR management tasks.
- Experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in HR sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience processing payroll is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a Must
