Reception/Purchasing

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to fill the position for Reception/Purchasing. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, providing customer service. There will also be repeated communication with coworkers. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Answer and manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Handling requests for supplies needed for production. Includes communicating with coworkers, checking prices, writing Purchase Orders, communicating with vendors, ensuring the right products were received, and getting the items to the correct department.
• Monitoring yard inventory.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide support, ensuring all questions are addressed promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized area to create a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a reception and/or purchasing role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient computer literacy including familiarity with office software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic work environment.

Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
