What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Relations Ambassador position at Delamar Hotel?
Delamar Hotels is looking for a Guest Relation Ambassador to join their growing team! The Guest Relation Ambassador reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for establishing and maintaining thematic stories and elements that influence and guide the Delamar guest experience. The Guest relation Ambassador also establishes direct coordination with each General Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Programming: Develop a seasonal events calendar for each Delamar location in coordination with each general manager. Planning, leading and guiding inter-departmental execution of special events and weekly activities, events, classes, and programs.
- Design: Curate design elements for use in all spaces, retail, spa, restaurant and amenity offerings.
- Networking: Establish relationships with local partners and vendors to initiate and enhance our unique brand story. Align Delamar hotels with strong brand partners to solidify our messaging in the local community and global luxury market, and to present a consistently attractive high end, luxurious brand image to existing and potential guests.
- Training: Coordinate with Operations team each GM a training program epitomizes Delamar values and brings the hotel to life for employees to share with guests. Maintain cooperative relationships and open lines of communication with leaders of ALL operational departments to ensure concept execution of programming and product offerings at all times.
- Recordkeeping and Personalization: Compile information from surveys, social media, and Glitch reports to identify areas for service opportunities and experiential needs.
- Creating: Delamar daily rituals for guests and employees; continuous oversight and guidance of inter-departmental execution.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of specified hotel information, correspondence, reports, and files.
- Any additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Three years of work experience in a Front of house and creative field, and previous guest service leadership and supervisory experience.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate success with developing and executing personalized services: possibly including coordinating events and activities, catering, retail.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in Design, or Hospitality or Marketing, Public Relations, or a combination of these.
- Be a natural leader with a positive demeanor and open mind of creativity, out of the box thinker, sense of adventure who regularly enjoys outdoors as well as city chic.
Desirable
- Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge as relates to Delamar hotels and their local areas.

- Ability to creatively plan/program ideas that bring the property identity to life from initiation to execution; adapt and revise plans as developments necessitate in real-time.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects at once.

- Ability to professionally represent the resort and interact with guests in a polished, responsible, and timely manner.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed for all 4 Delamar locations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit or stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift up, push, and pull at least 35 pounds
