Delamar Mystic- NEW stunning waterfront luxury boutique hotel with views of the Mystic River is looking for a Front Desk Agent to join their team! The front desk agent is accountable for processing check-ins/outs and assisting guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while following the highest standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for processing check-ins and check-outs
- Creates reservations and processes special requests.
- Assists guests by knowing hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
- Works as a team player in meeting guests' needs
- Provides gracious and efficient telephone services
- Responds to incoming calls and emails promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring accurate information
- Completes all items on the checklist
- Communicates the services and amenities of the hotel to guests
- Prepares room keys for incoming guests
- Accepts and provides wake-up calls for guests
- Collaborates effectively with other service departments to effectively manage guest services
- Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems
- Processes customer credit at check-in/out in accordance with hotel policy
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Team player
- Must be fluent in English and have a good phone voice
- Willing to go the extra step to ensure guest satisfaction
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of Opera is strongly preferred
- Previous hospitality experience required
