Delan Associates is looking for ITS professionals System Administrator for our client located in the New York City area.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Location : Must live in the New York City area

Contract Period of Performance : 1-3 years long (1 year with (two) additional years to renew)

Overview :

The company ITS is a full-service provider of information technology services. ITS provides The company with centralized network services that will encompass, but will not be limited to, systems development / design, security analysis, information processing, telecommunications and data center support services, data communications infrastructure, platform hosting, an e-mail system, internet and intranet access data security and exchange, desktop / client support, help desk, project management, applications development and quality assurance.

The company's hardware and software platforms include, but are not limited to, IBM and UNISYS mainframe, Microsoft Windows client servers and SUN / UNIX.

ITS requires assignments to be completed within a specific time frame provided by ITS during normal work hours. The consultants assigned to these positions may be asked to work off-hours, weekends, or holidays. ITS estimates the various assignments associated with a position will be worked simultaneously and will be required over the life of the contract.

HRA JOB TITLE : System Administrator

PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Under this initiative, the combination of technologies, applications and services continues to be refined periodically through a continuous improvement process achieved by the partnership with various COMPANY divisions, outside service organizations, and contractors. This partnership is intended to ensure full alignment of a state-of-the-art information technology strategy with the business goals of COMPANY and results in the information technology that fully supports and empowers staff, clients and partners to maximize service delivery. It also involves implementation of information technology policies and standards as well as executing all data security requirements, information technology planning and acquisition activities and technology training within the Agency.

Tasks & Duties

  • Configure and Manage O365 Applications
  • Set up and maintain O365 applications, including email, collaboration tools, and user accounts.
  • Deploy security protocols and manage threat detection to protect O365 and Exchange environments.
  • Tune configurations and manage resource allocation to ensure high availability and reliability of O365 and Exchange services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale O365 and Exchange infrastructure to accommodate organizational growth.
  • Ensure Compliance and Conduct Regular Audits. Provide Technical Support / Troubleshooting and Develop Documentation and Training Materials
  • Perform periodic security and performance audits to identify and address potential issues.
  • Implement and monitor compliance controls to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Address and resolve technical issues related to O365 and Exchange services.
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials for O365 and Exchange management.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 Years O365 Administration : Expertise in configuring and managing Office 365 applications and services.
  • Minimum 4 Years Exchange Management : Proficiency in managing and optimizing Microsoft Exchange environments.
  • Minimum 4 Years Security Measures Implementation : Advanced knowledge of deploying and managing security protocols for O365 and Exchange.
  • Minimum 4 Years Performance Optimization : Skills in tuning and optimizing the performance of O365 applications and Exchange services.
  • Minimum 4 Years Compliance Management : Experience in implementing compliance controls and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Minimum 4 Years Scalability Planning : Ability to design and implement scalable solutions for O365 and Exchange environments.
  • Minimum 4 Years Technical Support and Troubleshooting : Expertise in providing technical support and resolving issues related to O365 and Exchange.
  • Minimum 4 Years Documentation and Training : Proficiency in developing documentation and training materials for effective O365 and Exchange management.
