To serve food and beverage items to group guest in a professional manner at all times.
- Prepare food items supplies such as butter, creamers, crackers, rolls, dressings, etc.
- Set and replenish buffet tables with food, plates, etc.
- Set tables according to standards, i.e. linen clothes, silverware, condiments, etc.
- Serve assigned stations complete meal as ordered.
- Clear dirty dishes between courses.
- Follows standard procedures for banquet service, including set up and side duties.
- Obtain individual food and beverage orders as necessary.
- Respond to guest needs and answer any guest questions and relay comments and questions to banquet captain and/or manager.
- Fold napkins.
- Stock glasses, soup bowls, utensils, etc.
- Wipe and fill sugar bowls, salt and peppershakers.
- Return all equipment to proper storage area including perishable items.
- Clean function room and service area after function.
- Help kitchen and set-up staff load and unload transportation vehicle with equipment and food items.
- Assists in table and banquet room clean up.
- Assist other departments when requested by the Banquet Manager and/or Assistant Banquet Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager and/or Banquet Captain.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior banquet experience preferred, but not necessary
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
