To clean and maintain all public restrooms and lobby area’s throughout the resort.

Clean public washrooms.

Clean public lounges and halls.

Keep garbage cleared in all public areas.

Cobwebbing exterior of the resort once a week.

Maintain supplies in Wisconsin Room and Front Desk storerooms.

Report all public area problems and suggestions to Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Shampoo carpets.

Clean Marina cottage once a week and Prop Shop twice a week.

Respond to guest requests, needs and changes, and relay guest comments.

Punches in and reports to the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper and/or Inspector on time and in full uniform for each shift. Obtains Manager’s approval prior to punching out.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper and/or Inspector.

Qualifications

Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not necessary
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
