To oversee the operations of the Resort at night to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees. Interact with all departments to ensure they are running smoothly and maintaining our service standards for our guest. The Resort Night Manager will also respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints.
- Responsible for maintaining all operations of the Resort at night.
- Regularly walk all areas of the Resort inspecting for cleanliness, security concerns, maintenance issues, noise issues, etc. and addresses such issues.
- Check in with departments and discuss with managers/supervisors of each area the evening’s activities, expected guest counts, and operational issues, etc.
- Respond to all emergency situations whether guest or employee and complete all necessary reports as needed.
- Ensure that established policies and procedures are being followed, departments are running efficiently and maintain a high level of service.
- Handles guest complaints and requests. Resolve issues in a manner satisfactory to both the guest and the resort.
- Responsible for scheduling and training managers to be the Manager on Duty (MOD) to fill in as needed.
- Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.
- Responsible for the daily operations the Security department to include Hiring, scheduling, training, etc.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Available to work 2nd shift hours
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous management experience in a resort/hotel setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and/or stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet and/or sitting.
