Delaware Business Times, a division of Today Media, blends the incredible reach and effectiveness of print advertising with the targetability of digital platforms and top tier events to deliver amazing results for our advertisers.
A key driver of our business is the Multi-Media Account Executive who is the lead contact between Delaware Business Times and our advertising partners. This role requires selling and managing multiple client campaigns across a variety of channels, including print, digital, video, streaming audio, and events. Our digital advertising platforms can target any audience, in any area of the country.
In addition to Delaware Business Times, we publish The Book of Lists, Innovation Delaware and Delaware Careers. Delaware Business Times also produces popular events including DBT40, CEO of the Year and Women in Business.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Prospect, contact and present advertising solutions to new and existing businesses
- Generate advertising revenue across all available advertising channels
- Form strategic business and marketing partnerships in the community
- Manage client relationships and oversee implementation of their marketing campaigns
- Work with local and digital sales managers to help achieve personal and company goals
- Minimum of 1-2 year of Outside Sales Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills are required
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at once
- Desire to exceed standards within a goal oriented organization
- Proven track record of successfully selling to small and medium sized businesses
- Media sales, including Digital Media sales, a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with CRMs
