As an installation technician you’ll be responsible for installing cabling and security cameras at customer locations.

INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
- We are currently looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic that can grow in our fast paced environment. We will train the right person to install wiring for cameras, and program state of the art surveillance systems. The right candidate is one that is neat, punctual, well spoken, courteous, and well mannered. Experience with Video Surveillance, Access Control, WiFi, Phone Systems is preferred.
The technical/installers we hire are responsible for installing, relocating, troubleshooting, and auditing network cabling, internet, cable, telephone, surveillance services on customer’s premise. Company vehicle provided to and from job sites only.
Responsibilities.
- Performs on-site installing, troubleshooting, testing, terminations, splicing, repairing, and maintaining VOIP equipment and general network equipment, customer premise equipment, Video, fiber optic facilities and/or other products & services for new and existing customers following company installation policies.
- Pulling Low Voltage Cable (Cat 5, 5e, 6, 6a, Speaker Wire, HDMI, Coaxial, etc.…)
- Termination, testing, and troubleshooting of all low voltage cables.
- Gain an understanding of telecommunication products and services we sell, including phone systems, surveillance systems, door access control system, Wi-Fi enhancement systems and carrier services.
- Organizes, and stock vehicles with the proper equipment to perform required duties.
- Submit Daily Reports/Work Orders outlining project status and work performed.
- Leave job sites clean and organized at the end of each day and site inspection at the completion of each project.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or certified equivalent (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- If you like working with your hands,
- Possess some computer knowledge,
- Physically able to stand for long periods, climb ladders and rise several stories in a bucket truck
If you have never worked in this industry, but feel you meet the above requirements, we will train the right candidate.
