What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager, Student Support Services position at Delaware County Intermediate Unit?
The Delaware County Intermediate Unit seeks a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Case Manager, Project ELECT. This position is responsible for optimizing student functioning through knowledge of problem-solving, increased capacity, and effective linkages to resources for additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the classroom, activities, and on field trips to support student/clients.
- Compile, maintain, and submit required student data to monitor program and student progress.
- Conduct group and individual support sessions and home visits to monitor plan implementation.
- Develop and implement Individual Plans to ensure students receive proper support.
- Develop appropriate community networking and referrals within community-based organizations to improve and expand program services.
- Oversee student identification, outreach, recruitment, and intake to ensure program utilization meets the needs and goals of the DCIU.
- Provide ongoing information and assistance to the program coordinator and colleagues to ensure program success.
- Represent Project ELECT and the DCIU at assigned meetings and events to communicate goals and objectives of the program.
- Maintain up-to-date notes, student logs, and records to maintain required student and program data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Requirements:
- Community College and/or Vocational School degree with study in a job-related area.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Job-related experience is desired.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to keep records/reports.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on a computer.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable means of transportation.
