Position Overview
As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing elevators in both private and public infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair & Maintenance: Service, repair, adjust, and test mechanical and electrical elevator systems.
- Attention to Detail: Follow procedures meticulously and detect performance issues to address them promptly.
- Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, or repairs.
- Independent Work: Perform tasks independently while meeting customer needs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must meet fit-for-duty standards to handle the physical workload.
- Repair teams may encounter heavy lifting requirements based on individual projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working independently as an Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
- Valid elevator mechanic credentials (state license with additional experience will be considered).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
