Overview
DNI is looking to hire a Senior IT Analyst to join our team. The Senior IT Analyst will support the FAA's Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) by providing 24/7/365 monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for FAA infrastructure and applications. This role includes proactive issue identification, incident resolution, forensic analysis, and coordination with IT stakeholders to minimize service disruptions and maximize uptime.
Responsibilities
• Provide shift coverage for continuous monitoring of enterprise systems and services.• Develop and respond to system alerts, coordinate recovery efforts, and create after-action reports.• Facilitate technical conference calls among service and system Subject Matter Experts to resolve service interruptions.• Chair and document technical meetings, ensuring clear communication of findings and next steps.• Analyze and respond to customer-reported events and automated monitoring tool alerts.• Resolve technical issues independently, escalating only unique or critical problems.• Identify operational challenges, inform management, and propose solutions.• Collaborate with customers to define service requirements and expectations.• Develop and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in operations.• Execute ad hoc tasks and small projects with minimal supervision.• Utilize various enterprise monitoring and IT management tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Splunk, Windows, Linux, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT Management, Business Systems, Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience.• Experience with FAA systems and operations is highly preferred.• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation abilities.• Familiarity with IT monitoring, incident management, and forensic analysis tools.• Ability to work onsite at the FAA Leesburg, VA Security Operations Center as required, with some remote flexibility.
