Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55,300 – $74,600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
- Partner closely with client, guests, and catering staff to produce exceptional events that exceed guest expectations, drive referrals, and build positive brand awareness
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish and ensure smooth and efficient service, high quality food and beverage and client satisfaction
- Hire, train and schedule catering staff, ensuring they maintain company standards
- Coordinate, organize and manage necessary banquet equipment, service staff and arrangements for each event
- Order, manage inventory and ensure the quality of food, beverage, and supplies
- Design and deliver appropriate catering menus by collaborating with clients and chefs. Meet with clients to discuss event details, including menu, budget, timeline and specific requirements
- Financial responsibility in managing event budgets, creating financial reports, and tracking costs
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety standards, alcohol service compliance and other relevant regulations.
More about you
- Minimum three years of catering management experience in an arena or other large venue is required
- Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing
- Excellent customer service orientation, communication, data analysis, and organizational skills
- Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related preferred
