The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Vending Supervisor to join our team at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Vending Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

What will you do?
- Supervises and coordinates activities of vendors.
- Oversees Game-dayoperations in vending commissaries.
- Ensures quality of products and accurate preparation of all food and beverage items as listed on vendor sheet.
- Ensures a quality appearance of the vending commissaries at all times; ensures that all workstations and storerooms remain clean.
- Maintains level of inventory for vending commissaries throughout shift, orders replacement stock as necessary.
- Oversees and participates in vendor set-up and closing procedures; balances inventory to cash and closes out point-of-sale system with appropriate reports.
- Picks up the operating bank and enforces company cash handling procedures
- Analyzes and resolves all guests and associates problems with the vending commissary leaders.
- Reports all needed repairs to leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.
- Previous experience in food and beverage vending or other food service work preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate with team members and prepare written reports after each event.
- Ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical requirements
- Standing and walking for the entire length of shift.
- Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at the waist, bending, and squatting.
- Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, stock, mops, and brooms.
- Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures.
