Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for part-time Catering Operations Coordinators to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Catering Coordinator, responsible for overseeing all aspects of a catering operation for events, including planning menus, coordinating with clients to understand their needs, managing event logistics like staffing and equipment rentals, ensuring timely food delivery and setup, and providing excellent customer service throughout the event process, all while maintaining budget and quality standards.

What will you do?
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of catering events
- Create and maintain contact with client representatives from the catering event
- Establish event objectives with the client and develop a plan to achieve these goals
- Partner with the catering team members to ensure a smooth and successful event
- Maximize guest satisfaction throughout all phases of the event
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year administrative, or coordinator experience is required
- Working knowledge of budgetary practices for events preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- No experience or diploma required
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time and occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and kneel
