As the General Manager of our operation at UBS Arena, you will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing all aspects of our hospitality services for hockey, concerts, and other events. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $151,800 – $204,900 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
- Maintain positive client relationships through clear communication, operational efficiency, and sound financial practices while delivering quality food, beverages, and services.
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors to ensure consistent delivery of products and services.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing management team while ensuring all team members are equipped and motivated to provide an outstanding guest experience.
- Optimize staffing levels to balance guest satisfaction and maximize profitability for Delaware North and our client.
- Establish pricing and operational strategies within approved budgets to enhance profitability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and repair/maintenance standards for all foodservice equipment.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations related to alcohol sales, OSHA, payroll, employment, and EEO guidelines.
- Oversee financial performance by verifying, preparing, and submitting reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring effective systems for finance, inventory, and payroll.
More about you
- A minimum of 10-12 years’ management experience in foodservice operations, including premium dining, catering, and concessions in a sports or entertainment venue.
- Experience managing operations in a major sports arena (NHL, NBA, or similar), with annual revenues exceeding $20 million.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and operational accountability.
- Strong leadership and project management experience preferred.
