Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in creating and maintaining a successful football program for the University. This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach and will work with the defense.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Recruiting your position and an assigned area
- Track academic progress of student athletes within the program
- Help with the matriculation process for your position group and mentoring your student athletes
- Coaching your position group's fundamentals and schemes, and preparing and running position meetings
- Assist in development of productive and meaningful practice schedules
- Assisting with weekly game planning, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL)
- Other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinator
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in public relations
- Proficiency in recruiting students
- Bachelor's degree
- College level coaching and playing experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequently lifting 25 lbs. or more
- Typically standing or walking
- Typically bending, crouching, stooping
- Typically running, climbing
- Outdoor exposure to weather
- High noise environment
- Must hold valid driver’s license
- May have an alternative work schedule
- May be required to be on-call
- Occasional travel
