Position Title: Assistant Flag Football Coach
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Flag Football Coach to join our Villa Joseph Marie HS team. The ideal candidate will support the head coach in developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment. Season Runs from March 3-Mid May. Schedule is Monday-Friday after school (2:45pm). NO weekends. Coach must be present for all practices and games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in planning and implementing training sessions that enhance athletes' skills and performance.
- Monitor athletes during practice sessions and competitions to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a supportive team environment that encourages participation and personal development.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop game strategies and training programs.
- Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Organize team meetings and communicate effectively with athletes and their families regarding schedules, expectations, and events.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Coaching experience preferred but not mandatory. If you have no experience in flag or tackle football but have an interest in coaching you are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.
