Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Joseph A. Interiors is looking to expand our team! We are hiring for an experienced carpenter/cabinet builder who will be responsible for building and assembling custom cabinetry and wood products. This person will be using shop drawings and blueprints to create products for the commercial and residential construction industry. Our specialty is unique wood features including wall panels, entry and welcome center areas, shelving, custom closets, custom cabinetry, wooden elevator doors, special architectural features (like wooden palm trees!) and more. This person will also get the opportunity to occasionally install some of our products within the state of Wisconsin (no overnight travel).
Ideal candidates will have experience building specialty wood and laminate products and enjoy working on unique projects. Experience with power tools including: table saw, sliding table saw, portable miter saw, saber saw, band saw, orbital sander, belt sander, edge sander, joiners (biscuit joiner), pneumatic nailer, and others is preferred. Prefer experience with blueprint reading.
Schedule is Monday through Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm with occasional overtime on Fridays.
