Seasonal Games & Retail Manager

Education & Qualifications : Must be 18 years of age. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a valid PA Driver's license. Previous management and / or leadership experience with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within the department or related field is strongly preferred. Must always maintain and project a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and follow and enforce policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing excellent guest service. Must accurately perform basic math for sales, pricing, and inventory functions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Programs. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs and a maximum of 50lbs on occasion. Must positively and effectively communicate with team members, co-workers, and guests in the workplace.

Essential Functions :

• Oversee the team leaders, team members, and the overall operation of the department.
• Adhere to and promote all company and department rules, regulations, and policies.
• Provide guidance and training to team leaders and team members on proper department policies and procedures.
• Provide opportunities for learning by delegating tasks and projects to the team leaders.
• Must attend company and department meetings and training as scheduled by the Department Director.
• Operate and train team members on the Pont of Sale (POS) register according to the standard operating procedures for the Games and Retail Department.
• In conjunction with the Area Manager and Director, schedule and conduct trainings for new hire or performance for Team Members and Team Leaders.
• Maintain employee morale and overall positivity while establishing standards, clear expectations, and limitations between team Leaders and team members.
• Maintain the equipment in the Games and Retail Department. This includes but is not limited to the operation of each game and store, minor repairs, POS operations, barcode systems, troubleshooting problems, and cleanliness and organization.
• Must accurately perform basic math for sales and inventory functions.
• Ensure that team leaders and team members understand and abide by the overages and shortages policy within the department. Investigate any discrepancies.
• In conjunction with the Department Director and / or Chief Operating Officer, the Manager is responsible for the employment cycle including, but not limited to hiring, establishing job assignments, discipline, performance review, resignations, and / or termination of team leaders and team members.
• Complete scheduling for team leaders and team members through the When to Work scheduling system according to Child Labor Laws.
• Review and monitor team leader and team members' time sheets on the Ultipro system for payroll.
• Enforce adherence of Federal and State Laws, company policies, and department procedures with the team leaders and team members.
• Adhere to and promote safety policies and programs within the company. Report any safety issues to the Department Director or Chief Operating Officer if the director is not available.
• Address and handle guest issues and complaints when necessary.
• Assist the Area Manager and Department Director with decisions on merchandise choices, placement, and visual displays.
• Conduct work within the Center Edge System to devise purchase orders, complete inventory receipts in conjunction with the vendor invoice, tracking inventory movement, inventory audits, investigation of discrepancies, and review daily sales.
• Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.
• Safely operate a golf cart to transport merchandise If 18 years of age or over, with a valid PA driver's license.
