What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Clean Up Team Member position at DelGrosso's Amusement Park?
Education & Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally utilizing a two-person lift. Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals, using safety precautions as necessary. Must be able to work with others or independently. Must be able to work outdoors in all elements. Must always maintain a well-groomed appearance.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of all park dining areas and picnic areas by wiping down all tables, seats, and returning trays to the food stand as necessary.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of all park midways by continuously carrying a lobby broom and dustpan sweeping leaves, trash, various debris, and using other outdoor equipment.
- Monitor all trash cans in assigned area, lining all trash cans with bags, emptying when full, and re-bagging trash cans; filling and moving a utility cart when changing multiple trash cans at a time.
- Push standing water on midways using a squeegee and wiping down benches, tables, and seats when necessary.
- Follow safe and proper procedures set forth by company when using cleaning supplies and equipment
- Set up and/or tear down equipment used for special events
- Provide superior service when interacting with and assisting guests with inquiries, concerns, providing directions, always maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Report any safety, property damage and or maintenance concerns to Clean Up Team Leader or Manager
- Work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold temperatures.
