Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intakes to ensure eligibility of potential patients.
- Obtain medical histories and personal information of new patients.
- Update medical records of existing patients.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare new patient paperwork.
- Assist with billing as needed.
- Conduct medical benefits verification as directed.
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience with medical benefits verification.
- Experience with deductibles, max out of pockets, and coinsurance.
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Experience with prior authorization is preferred, though not required.
- Experience with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) claims is preferred.
- Pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Experience budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with the pharmacy business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field is preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
