Purchasing Coordinator/Buyer

Delivery Concepts designs and manufactures specialty temperature-controlled upfit solutions for the food and beverage industry, including homebound and institutional meal programs, grocery, catering, and mobile dining. Delivery Concepts is looking for an individual with experience in purchasing for recreational or commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

· Reviews requisitions and confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule

· Purchasing of parts from outside vendors and determine method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid

· Prepares purchase orders or bid requests

· Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories

· Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action if applicable

· Approves invoices for payment

· Determine and source vendors as necessary

· Complete contracts with vendors as necessary

· Direct weekly cycle counts to the warehouse and lead yearly physical inventories

· Review inventory to order, expedite, or delay as necessary

Requirements

· Minimum 2-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in RV manufacturing environment preferred

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

· Must possess the ability to use Microsoft Office

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, quick-change environment

Summary

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be integral to optimizing procurement processes and ensuring efficient supply chain management within our organization. Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, you will leverage your core skills in purchasing, organization and attention to detail to secure our materials and best support our customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
