North Country Healthcare is looking for a Permanent Medical Director in picturesque, small town New Hampshire!
Job Description :
- Serves as the clinician who oversees and guides the outpatient care and the medical director(s) of quality for primary care, facilitates office flow and addresses day-to-day clinical aspects, and acts as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners
- The Primary Care Medical Director will spend 1 / 3 of the scheduled time, approximately 12 hours per week on Medical Director Responsibilities and 2 / 3 of time, 24 hours per week as a primary care clinician and will work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of the health care team within the Health Centers and the Hospital
- Community call (including local nursing home patients) TBD, likely 1 : 4
- EMR is Meditech Expanse, Dragon dictation
- Reports to the Chief Medical Officer
- Supported by an RN Team leader and designated MA
- Specialist services available through Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital a couple times per week. Audiology, Cardiology, ENT / Allergy, General Surgery, Neurology, OB / GYN, Orthopaedics, Podiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiology, Sleep Medicine,Tele-Medicine Rheumatology, Urology.
- New practice in Colebrook. Patient panel not already established but there is volume to be had with stable practice offering continuity of care.
- Excellent IT and Marketing support to help build volume
