Experience : 5 years of recent Outpatient Primary Care experience and current or previous leadership employment experience
License : New Hampshire license (or willing to obtain)
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine
Must-Have : Clean malpractice / license
Job Description :
- Full-time outpatient position with leadership / Division Chair interest.
- Oversee and guide outpatient care and medical directors of quality for primary care.
- Facilitate office flow and address day-to-day clinical aspects.
- Act as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners.
- Spend approximately 12 hours per week on Medical Director responsibilities and 28 hours per week as a primary care clinician.
- Collaborate and cooperate as a member of the healthcare team within health centers and hospitals.
- Manage 20-24 patients per day.
- Engage in EMR optimization, implementation, and development, and best practice strategies.
- Participate in community calls, including local nursing home patients, likely on a 1 : 4 rotation.
- Utilize Meditech Expanse for EMR and Dragon dictation.
- Report to the Chief Medical Officer.
- Supported by an RN Team leader and designated MA.
- Access to specialist services a couple of times per week, including Audiology, Cardiology, ENT / Allergy, General Surgery, Neurology, OB / GYN, Orthopaedics, Podiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiology, Sleep Medicine, Tele-Medicine Rheumatology, Urology.
