Additional Information : The new Louisiana Medicaid contract requires Gainwell to implement new functionality for the client. This includes taking over all HIPP processing and ownership for creating and maintaining the Medicaid Third Party Eligibility Resource file. The project requires dedicated resources to meet the client's expectations and timelines. These resources are required to be onshore. Theis specific request is for a senior Agile IT Project Manager to support the implementation of new HIPP and COB functionality for this client. This Contingent request will be managed by IT AppDev (Department = 603050) but should be billed to customer = 600940 (LA Dept of Health & Hospitals).
The Sr. IT Project Manager plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects involve application development, application testing, network, server, or software implementation and potential upgrades.
- Manages stakeholders to set and deliver project expectations.
- Leads the planning and implementation of multiple IT projects.
- Participates in facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables of routine projects.
- Participates in developing project tasks and resource requirements.
- Participates in developing, maintaining, and reporting full scale project schedules.
- Provides knowledge and direction to less experienced staff.
- Understands project budget requirements.
- Understands the project timelines focusing on delivering milestones.
- Creates and tracks project deliverables using MS Project.
- Leads cross-functional team meetings to set expectations and create accountability.
- Creates appropriate client interaction deliverables.
- Implements all five project phases into the project schedule utilizing PMI best practices.
