Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Motorsports Technician to handle the assembly, pre-delivery inspection, and preparation of new motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports units. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble new units, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports equipment, according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure all components function properly and meet safety standards.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure units are free of defects and ready for customer delivery.
- Install accessories and upgrades as requested by customers or sales staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following shop safety protocols.
- Keep detailed records of work completed, including assembly notes and inspection checklists.
- Report any issues or delays to the service manager promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of tools and assembly-related supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a technician, mechanic, or assembly role (powersports or automotive industry preferred).
- Knowledge of small engine mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, assembly diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license (motorcycle endorsement preferred but not required).

Pay: $18.50 - $19.75 per hour
