Delta Flight Operations – Business Insights and Predictive Analytics, is seeking a Co-Op to help deliver data-driven solutions, automation, and AI-enabled optimization aimed at continually improving Crew Resources and Scheduling performance and decision making. The Co-Op will work directly with the team responsible for tackling a wide range of interesting and challenging projects that contribute directly to cost and time savings. Core attributes of this role include identifying existing manual processes that can be improved via data automation and designing/implementing a replacement, delivering solutions to help reduce task completion time, and utilizing project management skills to ensure all tasks are completed on time and on budget.
Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule:
Fall 2025 - 1st rotation
Summer 2026 - 2nd rotation
Spring 2027 - 3rd rotation

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
- Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
- This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
- Experience with SQL or Database querying tools to include ETL and functional knowledge of data modeling
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, preferred
- Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of excel
- Outside of the box thinking
- Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills
- Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work well in teams
- Must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university
- Highly preferred: curiosity, sense of humor, willingness to try new ideas, and persistence in the face of adversity
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
