This communicator will work closely with teams throughout Delta’s Commercial and International organizations, with particular emphasis on Network Planning and Revenue Management, to tell stories about Delta’s global network, the value to existing and potential customers of Delta’s premium products and services, and the airline’s commitment to the customer experience.
Role
The role reports to the General Manager – Global Communications | Commercial. The successful candidate will be an excellent writer with a knack for creativity, innovation and nontraditional storytelling, and will have a proven record of working collaboratively to understand, distill and communicate key business goals and strategies.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven excellence in written and verbal communication
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to counsel and foster constructive relationships with individuals at all levels including senior level executives, peers, and frontline employees
- Diplomacy, positivity, keen problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Financial, retail and/or airline industry experience
- Passion for measurement and analysis to drive results and prioritize work
- Ability to lead and work both independently and collaboratively, excelling in a cross-functional environment
- High degree of initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism
