HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain relationships with global and national partners which align with our charitable pillars
- Manage the grantmaking process of The Delta Air Lines Foundation
- Partner with the CE activations team to develop the meaningful engagements for our employees, retirees and customers.
- Work with the other GMs to track metrics demonstrating progress on Brand Power scores.
- As a member of the CE leadership team, work with the other GMs and MD to continue to develop the brand experience in Community Engagement by developing initiatives that position Delta as an aspect of customers’ lifestyles.
- Collaboration with Flight Ops and TechOps on pipeline development, IFS on anti-human trafficking, HR and Global Wellness on entire wellness, Sustainability on environment partners, DE&I on equity, and Government Affairs.
- Understand complex community issues and the parameters of the nonprofit partnerships
- Lead and mentor a high performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, optimization and excellence. Drive team performance and development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and nurturing a positive work environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- High School diploma is the minimum requirement. Bachelor's Degree, concentration in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred; MBA is a bonus
- 5-10 years of Community Engagement, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Finance in progressive levels of responsibility, including people management
- Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of success in large organizations
- Creative and strategic, seeing the bigger picture, with ability to analyze and think critically when solving problems to come up with unconventional solutions
- Strong entrepreneurial background with attention to detail, process, and time management
- Previous leadership and team management. Ability to build great relationships with internal teams and agency partners
- A penchant for creative problem solving and passion for the community
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
