JOB SUMMARY:
The South Town Security Officer works to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the Security Department to guarantee the safety and security of buildings, properties, employees, and guests across Smith Entertainment Group properties. The Security Supervisor reports to the Sr. Manager, Building Security. Shift: Midnight - 8am.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce and comply with company policies, post orders
- Provide a visual deterrence by maintaining high visibility at all times.
- Conduct detailed observations of people and property within their area of responsibility.
- Provide detailed written reports of incidents that occur within their area of responsibility.
- Enforce rules and regulations of the venue at all times.
- Provide access control to authorized persons.
- Prevent theft of property.
- Conduct foot patrols or fulfill standing posts in their area of responsibility as directed.
- Verbally interact with other people within their area of responsibility.
- Contact their supervisor when a situation occurs outside of their training & knowledge.
- Contact law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age
- Driver’s License Preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm in highly stressful situations
- Must be able to work in a collaborative manner
- Manage multiple staff at a time
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
- Ability to stand for an entire shift (75% standing and walking, 25% stair and ramp climbing)
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, bend, twist, grasp, and reach
