Key Responsibilities:
Assign site addressing for 911 and maintain addressing/road naming system.
Configure, deploy, and maintain a suite of ArcGIS offerings including web and mobile-based GIS applications such as Esri Experience Builder, Collector, Survey 123, and other tools within the ArcGIS Online platform.
Operate as the GIS technical lead on diverse projects to create data, maps, and other visualization products leveraging the ESRI ArcGIS Suite of desktop, mobile, and online tools.
Support field data collection using ArcGIS Online apps and manage associated data.
Develop high-end cartographic products to support meetings, reports, and other deliverables.
Read subdivision plats to draw out new developments and maintain the tax parcel layer.
Improve geodatabase schemas and analysis methods to support project goals.

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction of the Director of GIS, the analyst coordinates, assigns, reviews and approves addressing, street naming, and property developments for the sake of 9-1-1 and emergency responses; maintains GIS and 9-1-1 data and resolves discrepancies therein, including outreach to the public and local government authorities to promote best practices and corrective actions.
The analyst performs skilled technical work in the assignment enhanced (E) 911 addressing and street naming using GIS as well as maintenance of Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) database. Employee maintains GIS databases specific to addressing and Intrado’s application, edits and creates address points, access points, and other geographic features using ESRI ArcGIS software in an enterprise geodatabase along with sending address notifications and providing general support to GIS Department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in geography, engineering, planning, GIS or related field with GIS course work required; GIS certification can be used to establish equivalency.
Experience:
Must have excellent working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software for editing and analysis, and be proficient with geodatabase usage, Microsoft Office and Google products.
Four (4) years’ experience with GIS technology required and one (1) year experience in E 911 Addressing desired.
Combination of education and experience could waive specific requirement.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current and valid Colorado Driver's License
