IT Support Engineer
Job Summary: The IT Support Engineer ensures a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment by providing technical support and assisting with system administration in a hybrid enterprise (on-premises & Microsoft Entra ID/M365). Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT assets and supporting compliance efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, customer-focused, and stays current with emerging technologies.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Technical Support & System Administration
Technical Support & System Administration
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
- Provide hands-on and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with M365 and other application administration relevant to the role.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops (physical & virtual).
- Manage user accounts, devices, and groups in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Support for company meetings, events, and presentations (A/V setup, technical facilitation).
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
System Monitoring & Asset Management
- Monitor system performance and availability, participating in on-call support.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
Compliance & Process Improvements
- Assist with audits and ensure security controls compliance.
- Recommend and implement IT improvements.
- Assist with enforcement and adoption of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in IT or related field preferred.
- 4 years in IT support, system administration, or technical troubleshooting.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CompTIA A , Network
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate/Fundamentals
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of networking (LAN, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
