Together, we can make a difference – not only in Iowa but across the country.Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities: Design and develop collateral and marketing materials as needed, such as brochures, advertising, and direct mail while maintaining brand standards. Write, design and create e-newsletters, digital ads and landing pages to engage members, prospects, employers, providers and agents. Work with marketing, communications and social media team to manage social channels including content creation, monitoring and design. Assist with internal communications efforts for employee engagement, including memos, videos, e-newsletters, company intranet and digital signage board announcements. Shoot, edit and produce video for internal and external communications. Work collaboratively with other departments to execute their communication priorities including e-newsletters, social media posts, brochures, direct mail and video. Update website content and imagery as needed to support Delta Dental’s marketing and company goals. Assist with in-person events and sponsorships needs (internal events, State Fair, other community events). Support external agency and vendor partner relations and projects as needed. Utilize project management system to complete projects on time. Be an expert of the Delta Dental brand and follow all brand guidelines – be a resource for other departments. Provide support for the marketing and communications teams. Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements Bachelor's degree with emphasis on graphic design, journalism, communications, marketing or equivalent work experience. 3 years of experience designing, writing and/or editing content in marketing or journalism, publishing, or agency. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, X , Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube). Preferred experience with marketing automation (Marketo). Experienced with design across multiple platforms including print and digital. Knowledgeable in shooting and editing video, preferably with Premier Pro. Demonstrated expertise in content that follows brand, voice and tone guidelines. Ability to produce quality work, on time, responding quickly and well to edits. Must be able to work under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Some travel may be required.
