Position Description
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the company's facilities and ensures that the facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, and that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires an associate's degree in facilities management or a related field and three years of experience in facilities or construction management. Certifications from the International Facility Management Association or Building Owners Management Association preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires a strong understanding of facility management policies, procedures, and practices; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and coordinate with external contractors and vendors; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment; proficiency in using facility management software and tools; ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations; ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks as required; valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle as needed for the role. Working knowledge of building HVAC, various mechanical systems, building management systems and CMMS systems a plus.
Position requires some travel between office locations and the ability to work outside of regular business hours in order to support projects. Position also requires the ability to be on call outside of regular business hours in order to respond to building emergencies 24/7/365.

Position Description

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the maintenance staff and contractors, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, setting priorities and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensures that all facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition, including conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Oversees the maintenance, including scheduled and emergency tasks and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Works with external contractors and vendors, ensuring that work is completed to the required standards.
- Develops and implements maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of all facilities, including maintaining an inventory of required supplies.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manages the work request system ensuring prompt communication with requestors and completion of tasks.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate the response to facility-related incidents.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
