We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product and Research Analyst (PRA) to join our innovative product development team. As a PRA, you will play a crucial role in coordinating tasks related to product development, management, and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of our top-tier dental, vision, hearing, and other group and individual products. Your responsibilities will include supporting planning and product development initiatives, conducting market and competitor research, preparing intelligence briefs for management, translating market needs into product requirements, tracking product performance, supporting business intelligence efforts, managing external partner communications, and preparing certification filings to comply with the Affordable Care Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product development, management, and operations tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Support planning and product development initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitor research and prepare intelligence briefs for management.
- Translate market needs into product requirements.
- Track product performance and support business intelligence efforts.
- Manage external partner communications.
- Prepare certification filings to comply with the Affordable Care Act.
Education, Experience & Competency Requirements:
- Minimum BA/BS degree.
- 5-7 years of experience in dental insurance and/or health insurance.
- Preferred: Previous product development or product management experience, knowledge of health insurance policies and related contracts, and health insurance operations knowledge.
- Familiarity with Network 360 and ACA Health Exchanges is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel (strong Excel skills required), and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication and explanation of positions and issues.
- Strong analytical skills and insurance industry knowledge.
- Superior research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required - occasional travel outside of NJ & CT.
