Your Role at Delta Faucet
The Human Resources Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and gain hands-on experience in various HR functions. This internship is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual looking to develop foundational knowledge in HR practices. The intern will assist with administrative support, recruitment coordination, HRIS data entry, and other departmental tasks to contribute to the overall success of the HR team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with HR budget tracking tasks, including organizing financial documents and supporting monthly budget reconciliations.
- Support the processing of HR department invoices, including helping with vendor information and data entry.
- Help maintain and update HRIS records in Workday, including assisting with entries for new hires, promotions, and terminations under supervision.
- Track temporary/contract assignments and assist with generating reports for the Indianapolis location.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate interview logistics, prepare recruitment materials, and support candidate travel arrangements.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including assisting with pre-onboarding activities and responding to employee queries.
- Assist with scheduling and logistics for departmental meetings, including booking spaces and managing invites.
- Support HR compliance projects and help address employee questions in partnership with the People Operations team.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
