Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our sales team and expand our market presence within the health insurance claims processing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with insurance brokers and consultants, and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Collaboration:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
    • Collaborate with, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Provide guidance and support in building and maintaining strong broker and consultant relationships.
  2. Market Expansion:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the self-funded health insurance sector.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to capitalize on market gaps.
  3. Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with insurance brokers and consultants.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
    • Ensure exceptional broker, consultant, and customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Sales Process Optimization:
    • Streamline and enhance the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement best practices and tools to optimize sales performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  5. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.
    • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales performance and market trends.
  6. Sales and Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop detailed sales plans that result in sales success.
    • Meet and exceed all assigned new sales goals.
    • Meet minimum call frequency standards established by the CXO.
    • Prospect for new broker opportunities to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
    • Interface regularly with the CXO, COO, VP of Client Services, and Delta TeamCare to provide accurate prospect information and ascertain best new business rates.
    • Identify and muster needed internal and external resources/staff to close sales.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful sales growth in the health insurance or related industry.
  • Established network of brokers and consultants in California specializing in self-funded business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Valid California Life/Health Insurance license required. (Or be acquired within first year of employment.)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
