What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Staff position at Delta Medical Clinic?
```Duties```
- Main duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Working on billing to making sure all appointments are billed correctly. As well as calling to collect payments and correcting super bills.
- Working with tmhp patients and companies to ensure quality healthcare for our patients
- Inputting new home visit patients into our EMR
-Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, Dr Chronos) is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to speak spanish fluently as a majority of our patients are spanish speaking
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
