Position Overview
Responsible for assisting employees with technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves diagnosing problems, providing solutions, and ensuring employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
User Management & Tech Support
- Serve as technical support for all Delta Medical personnel for issues related to electronic equipment, including, but not limited to, computers and cell phones.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes, including laptop provisioning and setup.
- Provide help desk support to personnel. Respond to employee inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in person. Ensure employee satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Guide users through step-by-step solutions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and best practices.
Microsoft 365 Administration and Collaboration
- Administer Windows Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments, including mailbox management and licensing.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint and OneDrive permissions, external sharing, and compliance settings.
- Administer Teams policies, security, and compliance, integrating with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Enhance productivity by linking Teams with applications like RingCentral, Dynamics365, Planner, PowerBi, etc.
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance productivity and streamline business processes. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and provide support and training to end-users.
Network Management & Security
- Support IT team with cloud-based and on-premise server infrastructure and back-up storage systems (VxRail, Azure, Synology NAS, etc.).
- Support IT team with Network systems and services (firewalls, VPN, DNS, wired/wireless).
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 3 years of computer and IT related work experience, or Associates Degree in related field with 5 years of related work experience.
- Good written and verbal communications skills required.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Enjoys helping others, training colleagues, and working across departments to support overall business operations.
- Working knowledge of applicable technologies, including Microsoft 365, VMware, Active Directory (on site and Microsoft Entra ID).
- Working knowledge of data networking, server technologies, and SANs.
- General troubleshooting skills, with an ability to quickly resolve hardware, network, and software issues.
