Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Precast Concrete Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. In this role, you will ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe manufacturing processes while meeting production targets and deadlines. As a key leader, you will train, motivate, and guide a team of production workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate all precast concrete production activities, ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals.
• Optimize Productivity & Efficiency: Lead the production team to maintain high efficiency, identify opportunities for process improvements, and minimize downtime.
• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement effective production schedules, ensuring timely deliveries with logical sequencing and optimal resource allocation.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols, fostering a safe, zero-incident workplace.
• Maintain a Clean & Organized Work Environment: Promote good housekeeping practices to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized facility.
• Manage Raw Material Requirements: Collaborate with the Production Manager to monitor inventory, anticipate material needs, and ensure continuous production flow.
• Train & Develop Staff: Provide hands-on training and mentorship to improve employees' skills, job performance, and support career development.
• Workforce Coordination: Assess labor needs, assign tasks, and adjust schedules to meet production demands.
• Monitor & Report Performance Metrics: Track KPIs such as efficiency, waste reduction, and safety incidents, preparing regular reports for management.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance safety, reduce risks, and optimize production processes.
• Cultivate a Positive Work Culture: Foster a collaborative, accountable, and respectful work environment, ensuring high morale and teamwork.
• Ensure Policy Adherence: Uphold company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and follow all management directives.
• Perform Additional Duties: Take on any additional tasks assigned by company leadership to support operational goals.
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Production Supervisor role or similar leadership position within precast concrete manufacturing or construction.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing processes, including casting, curing, finishing, and quality control.
• Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse workforce, creating a high-performance culture.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to proactively address production challenges while maintaining efficiency and quality.
• Adaptability & Time Management: Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including operators, engineers, and management.
• Commitment to Safety & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours, shifts, and weekends as needed to meet production demands.
