Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team and provide support United States Space Forces – Space (S4S) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. As a Current Operations (CUOPS) Subject Matter Expert, you will coordinate and develop briefing products, manage all aspects of S33 facilitated briefings/presentations and accomplish all other tasks required to support Current Ops battle rhythm events across functional organizations.
\n- Managing and tracking the Current Operations (CUOPS) order process to include receipt, status updates or in-progress reviews, and transmittal to internal or external organizations.
- Measuring compliance with ongoing activities and assisting in identifying where situations deviate from the plan called for in published orders.
- Implementing and assisting with S33 inputs into the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE); the global integration decision support and visualization tool of record.
- Coordinating draft orders through the final approval of orders for publication on behalf of Commander, United States Space Command
- Tracking Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) applicable USSPACECOM orders and subordinate orders via an orders tracker on the USSPACECOM SharePoint SIPR website.
- Attending Plans Operations Synchronization Working Group meetings as a SME.
- Coordinating generation, quality control and dissemination of operations orders to the USSPACECOM area or point of contact best suited to execute the orders
- Support CUOPS battle rhythm events across functional organizations including the Commander’s Update Brief weekly, establish communications with all participants, conduct rollcall for those attending, and ensure appropriate foreign or U.S.-only attendance.
- Assisting in setting up and running Operational Planning Team meetings.
- Providing limited administrative support, including preparing and reviewing internal/external documents, and managing assigned taskings using the Task Management Tool (TMT) and coordinating with action officers to ensure they are aware of assigned tasks and due dates.
- Experience in a Component Command S33, Current Operations, division or related experience such as Combatant Command J33 divisions
- Ability to identify and resolve challenges at a strategic level
- Ability to lead an Operational Planning Team
- Ability to brief/interact with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians
- Ability to analyze situations and make well informed recommendations
- Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite and Task Management Tool processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher desired, 10-15 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Completion of JPME 1 is highly desired, and JPME II is preferred
- TS/SCI clearance required

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $155,000-$165,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
