Job Summary:
">- Coordinate and direct vessel and barge operations, terminal inventory planning, and supply modeling through direct employee supervision, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Forecasts and manages internal and external terminal and vessel inventory.
- Build and manage supply and transportation planning and budget models.
- Schedules and determines logistics of all marine assets to maximize efficiency.
- Manage all marine vessels from a compliance, operational, and cost perspective.
Responsibilities:
">The Marine Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of marine and shoreside personnel. This includes organizing all operational functions of tanker, tug, barge charters, and sub-charters. The role also involves facilitating tanker operations with vessel crew, inspectors, and agents.
The incumbent will be required to complete regulatory EPA and EIA testing and reporting, as well as import and export reporting and tax requirements. They will also be responsible for managing cargo quality standards and ensuring compliance.
Additionally, the Marine Operations Manager will coordinate with customers to facilitate barge deliveries, arrange cargo inspector nomination, sampling, and testing, and build relationships with marine partners.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine petroleum logistics and/or marine operations preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer accounts and orders.
